2x19 - Teach Me Tonight
Luke (Scott Patterson) asks Rory (Alexis Bledel) to help after he learns that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) is flunking out of high school, but during their first study session, Jess convinces Rory to take a drive and crashes her car, landing Rory in the hospital. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) explodes at Luke for putting Rory in danger, and Luke puts Jess on a bus for New York.
