2x04 - The Road Trip to Harvard
With the wedding called off, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is eager to escape the sympathies of everyone in Stars Hollow, so she and Rory (Alexis Bledel) take off on a road trip that ultimately leads to Harvard Univerisity, where Rory comes face-to-face with her dreams of college life, while Lorelai confronts the past that might have been.
